BIVIS paper pulp lines developed by Clextral offer many advantages compared to conventional processes

High pulp quality:
The functions of BIVIS machines include fibre separation, chemical impregnation, washing and bleaching in order to obtain a high quality pulp.

A process which reduces costs:
Compared to conventional processes, BIVIS process allows:
- 10 to 15% reduction in energy consumption for wood or annual plants fibre separation
- 10 to 30% decrease of chemicals in chemical treatment and pulps bleaching
- Reduced water consumption for pulp washing

Eco-friendly process:

An eco-friendly process which allows reduction of the quantity of water and of effluents (from 30% to 90% for certain pulp production processes using BIVIS) and their polluting load allowing paper pulp manufacturers to choose a more ecological alternative and to reduce effluent treatment costs.

Reduced processing time:
The continuous pulp production processes using BIVIS machines (that allow several functions), significantly reduce pulp processing time compared to traditional processes. The acceleration of the kinetic of the cellulose material treatment is explained by the specific working conditions of the machines.

Quick and Easy equipment maintenance:
The BIVIS machines, the heart of the process, are designed to ensure a quick and easy maintenance that allows reduction of the production line’s pause time.

Reduced civil engineering costs:
Complete pulp lines that use BIVIS processes are particularly compact and thus require reduced civil engineering, allowing reduced investment costs owing to buildings and other associated infrastructure.

Wide range of cellulose materials:
A wide range of raw materials can be successfully transformed into high quality pulp thanks to BIVIS processes.
Raw materials used in BIVIS processes are:
- Softwood - Hardwood
- Textile fibres such as cotton comber wastes, flax, hemp, abaca, sisal, jute…
- Annual plants such as kenaf, wheat straw, bagasse…
- Other cellulose materials such as oil palm tree wastes, Sorghum…or recycled fibres can also be used as well.

Wide range of BIVIS machines :
Capacity: from 50 to 5,000 BDKg/h
Motor Power: from 50 to 2,000 KW
