Clextral places its technical resources and the skills of its experts at its customers’ disposal to accompany their new product development projects.
Clextral owes its place as an innovative pioneer and leader to its two research centres, run by multi-disciplinary teams in France and the USA, and to the scientific and technological cooperation that the company has initiated with public and private research organizations.

The highly qualified and motivated research team of PhD engineers and technicians assists customers in defining and optimizing their equipment in order to meet their targets and create new products. The process department is fully committed to the success of internal research & development projects.
The collaboration agreements set up with technical centres and competitive clusters also provide further resources to help deploy innovation. Many centres are in fact equipped with Clextral twin-screw extruders and regularly publish the results of their work.
In its commitment to basic research, Clextral has fully or partially sponsored a large number of physics PhD students and Masters of Science: 6 physics PhD and 3 Masters degrees have been completed since 1986; 3 physics PhDs are currently in progress in partnership with a large number of European universities.
